Sachin D. Shah, MD, provides comprehensive primary care to adults and children of all ages. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and clinical informatics, and serves as chief medical information officer of UChicago Medicine, where his work focuses on patient engagement, population health, digital transformation, and clinical analytics. He has expertise in preventive health, chronic disease management, quality improvement, clinical decision support, analytics, and health care delivery innovation.
Dr. Shah also practices in the inpatient setting on the general medicine wards, and works closely in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting with medical students, residents, and fellows, emphasizing patient-centered care, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice.
