The University of Chicago Medicine, with a history dating to 1927, is a not-for-profit academic medical health system based on the campus of the University of Chicago on the city's South Side, and with hospitals, outpatient clinics and physician practices throughout Chicago, its suburbs and Northwest Indiana. UChicago Medicine unites the University of Chicago Health System, the Biological Sciences Division and the Pritzker School of Medicine to fulfill its tripartite mission of patient care, research and education.
Meet Our Leaders

Mark Anderson, MD, PhD
Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs, Dean of the Division of the Biological Sciences, and Dean of the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. A nationally recognized physician-scientist and academic leader, Dr. Anderson oversees the University's medical and biological sciences research, medical education, clinical care and community-health missions.

Tom Jackiewicz
President of the University of Chicago Health System, which operates as the University of Chicago Medicine (UChicago Medicine). President Jackiewicz leads the academic health system’s seven-hospital clinical enterprise, overseeing patient care operations while advancing integration with the University’s medical education, medical research and community-health missions.
