Employee Assistance Program Support
[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi, my name is Kelly Calderon. And I'm with the Perspectives University of Chicago Medical Center team. As your employee assistance program, we just wanted to do a short video to give an overview of our services, as well as how you can access them.
The reason we wanted to do this was due to the COVID-19 virus, we understand that stressors and tensions may be very high. And we just want to make sure that we're here to support you, and you can feel confident in what our services are. So I'm going to answer a couple of questions that are maybe common questions for you to ask, and kind of give an overview of those services.
The first set of services that we offer are going to be our counseling services. So this has a couple of different things that you can do with it. The first one will be in-the-moment support. If you're just feeling frustrated or stressed, just need to talk to us in that moment, you can give us a call. And we have master's-level clinicians that will be able to talk to you and kind of get you through that moment.
If you wanted to schedule an appointment, we can also do that as well. We will just gather your information, what's going on, give you some pointers right then and there if you need it, and then get you set up with a counselor for some short-term counseling. Another one of our services are going to be our legal and financial services. So this consists of a consultation with either an attorney or a financial counselor, if you need it.
And the final umbrella of services is going to be our work-life department. So this consists of resources and convenient searches such as elder care, child care, housing resources, pet services, nutritionists, things like that, that we can get you connected to. So we will help you figure out what those resources may be, and how we can point you in that direction.
As far as family members go, we do offer all of our services to your family members as well. So they would just need to contact us the same way you do, and just need to know that you work for the University of Chicago Medical Center.
So you can access our services in multiple modalities, the first one being a phone call. So this is going to be our 24-hour line, where you can call us. The number is 800-456-6327. Again, that is the 24-hour line.
You can also access us through email or chat. And you can do this via our website, which is going to be www.perspectivesltd.com. Your unique username is going to be uch001. And your password will be all lowercase, perspectives, with the S on the end.
And you can also download our app, which is if you search Perspectives EAP, it will be called the Spark app. And you can just download the app and access our website resources on there as well. And you can just contact us directly through the app, too.
So know we are offering video and phone appointments right now. So if you do not feel comfortable leaving your house for your safety, as well as our counselors, we do offer those phone and video sessions. So you would just contact us, and we can get you set up for those. And then once we're back in person, we would be able to get you connected to that as well.
And then in closing, I just want to say that, again, even though I didn't go over every single resource or service that we offer, we do have many different ones. So if you're just questioning, you're not sure what you're looking for, or kind of what you're feeling, please give us a call. Our counselors are really good at assessing the situation and figuring out what services might best fit you.
So just give us a call, or contact us any other way that I explained earlier. And more importantly, stay safe, and stay healthy. Thank you.
