Clayton Brinster, MD, FACS, is a board-certified vascular surgeon who specializes in treating a wide range of vascular pathologies. He is a nationally recognized expert in aortic and carotid disease in addition to his extensive training and experience with:

As a member of our vascular team and Co-Director of the Center for Complex Aortic Diseases, Dr. Brinster will focus on complex aortic surgery using cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques. He works closely with other healthcare professionals from a range of specialties to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for his patients. Dr. Brinster’s goal is to improve his patients' quality of life by taking a personalized approach, tailored to each specific patient and each specific problem, no matter how common or complex.
Dr. Brinster’s research in vascular disease and aortic surgical techniques has been presented at regional, national and international meetings, and his work is regularly published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons.
